Our Bert Show listener has been dating a guy for a few years, and when they first met, he knew she had kids and she knew he had kids, and he had been divorced.
Everything’s been going great, except for one thing: SHE HASN’T MET HIS KIDS!!!
The reason? He says their mother wants to meet her first, which is totally understandable, except in the entire four years, ZERO attempt has been made.
Apparently all this time his ex hasn’t been comfortable with the thought of them meeting her, or them coming to THEIR home to spend time with them.
Our listener’s starting to get a little worried like she’ll never get to meet them, and she knows someday she and her boyfriend will get married, but she’s not comfortable not being able to get to know his children!
Is she in the wrong for wanting to insert herself in the lives of children that are not hers?
