Our listener Melanie is essentially a single mom. She’s got an 8-year-old son, and his dad consistently disappoints him and doesn’t follow through. He’s supposed to pick him up to take him to the water park…but he hasn’t shown up and she hasn’t heard from him.
The big problem is that Melanie has a big presentation at work that she’s worked SUPER hard for…and it’s today. Normally her mom would watch her son, but remember, her son was supposed to be at the water park, so mom’s not nearby.
Time’s running out…what does she do?!
