A$AP Rocky Could Face 6 Years in Swedish Prison

While with his crew in Europe last week, A$AP Rocky was arrested on July 3rd on suspicion of assault after a video surfaced of the rapper apparently grabbing a man and throwing him several feet in the air. The video was published days before his performance at Smash Festival in Stockholm.

After the video was posted, Rocky himself posted his own videos to his Instagram account, which apparently showed the man in question following and harassing him and his crew (below):

Rocky has now been sitting in a Swedish prison for almost a week, and if he is convicted on aggravated assault charges, could face up to six years in prison there. Rocky has recently appealed his case to Sweden’s Supreme Court.

Fellow rappers and friends of Rocky have expressed their support for the rapper on social media these past few days, even going as far as to boycott Sweden.
