We’re going drama fishing…and want to know what drama you have going on in your life this morning that we can follow along with?!
One listener Cynthia’s friend applied for a job where she work. Cynthia declined to give her opinion of her friend publicly until her boss was super impressed with her. So after that when asked my opinion of her, Cynthia said she thought she would be a good fit and that she’s great. The company is planning to offer her friend the job
this morning.
But here’s the thing: last night in conversation with Cynthia and a few friends, this friend was bragging
about how she LIED and totally exaggerated her skills and past experience on her résumé and in her interview. She didn’t say anything to her, but now Cynthia is nervous. She unknowingly vouched for her and her supposed skills and experience.
Cynthia’s boss is in his office now…should she take back what she said about her friend and be honest with him about what she found out before they offer her the job? Or should she just go with it and be supportive of her as a good friend should be?
