Cassie got some disappointing news that’s a real bummer about her baby shower, but it’s 100% a first world problem and she totally recognizes that. But she’s still bummed and wants a pity party.
We get it. Sometimes there are SUPER trivial and superficial things that upset you, and you KNOW it’s not a big deal, but it’s still getting at you. But here’s the thing: you don’t want to complain about it to your friends, because it’s not a REAL problem. We’re not talking death, illness, losing a job, money problems or family issues – we’re talking like all you wanted from the grocery store was a tub of Haagen Dazs and they were out of your fave flavor.
Call and tell us your UTTERLY first world, privileged problem just so you can get it off your chest. We’ll all “pity” you. Then you move on. BAM.
