Home girl’s only been engaged for two months and isn’t pregnant – there really isn’t any reason to have it happen so fast. Is this bride’s sparkle about to get stolen?
Dear Bert Show,
I can’t decide if I am overreacting so I’d like your opinion. For over a year, I’ve worked diligently to plan my wedding and select my bridal party.
With the big day less than a month away, I just found out one of my bridesmaids will be doing a rush wedding a few days before mine. While I’m happy for her, I’m not thrilled that she’s choosing to rush and have hers before mine. (They’ve been engaged a couple of months and she isn’t pregnant.)
Maybe my last minute stress getting to me, but I’m upset that she’s choosing to do this. I don’t want to make it a big deal, but I’m feeling very hurt and betrayed right now. Because we are in the same friend group, it feels like she is going to steal my sparkle. Am I being crazy?
