Your sibling tells you “happy birthday” in a group text…and that’s it. Are you offended they didn’t call or text you one-on-one? Moe’s friend is…but it might have something to do with their backstory…and an age gap.
Moe’s friend, who’s in his late 20s, and his younger sister had gotten into a fight. Then, when his birthday popped up, he didn’t hear from his sister ALL day. He found out later that she had wished him a happy birthday…in a family group text. His friend feels SUPER disrespected, but Moe thinks it might just be an age thing – that his sister thinks it’s totally fine.
What say you?
Does wishing your big bro happy birthday in a big family group text count. Or should it be a phone call? Or a one-on-one text?
