California wants to make it legal for college athletes to be able to get paid off their likeness and image – something which wasn’t possible before (and that the NCAA opposes).
Tim Tebow was asked about it, and was SO, SO against it. But is he coming from a place of privilege? Why shouldn’t these athletes – a lot of whom get into sports to help not only pay for college, but to help out their family after they graduate and as they hopefully go into professional sports. Some of these college athletes might be the best at the school but can’t even afford to go home over break.
Should they or shouldn’t they be paid?
