Safety Tips For First Time Trick-Or-Treaters

Are your kids FINALLY old enough to get that sweet, sweet, free, door-to-door candy? Have you not been out since you were a kid yourself? Or maybe (*gasp*) you’ve never even gone trick or treating before? We’ve got you covered with these tips to keep your kids safe while soliciting “the goods.”

1) Check that costume fit! Make sure your child has plenty of room to move around and breathe in. Nothing worse than having to call it quits before getting to the house that gives out the FULL SIZE Snickers because that Among Us costume suddenly decided to deflate.

2) Stay in well-lit/populated areas. Don’t get mugged trying to score some 100 Grand.

3) Travel in groups! This should go without saying (if you’re a GOOD parent, that is!), but don’t leave kids unattended! That’s how they get sent to the Upside Down.

4) Glow sticks/reflectors are your friend! Seriously, don’t let your kid get Pet Sematary-ed.

5) Finally…mask up! Let’s avoid any potential zombie outbreaks this year!
