Shreveport: Terrible place for Keeping your New Year’s Resolution

They just ranked 182 of the biggest cities in the country from the best places to keep New Year’s resolutions to the worst.  And believe it or not, Las Vegas was NOT one of the worst.

The rankings are based on a bunch of different factors that tie in to the most popular resolutions.  That means things like gyms per capita . . . average credit card debt . . . job opportunities . . . binge drinking rates . . . and percentage of smokers.

The 10 best cities for sticking to your resolutions are:  Scottsdale, Arizona . . . Seattle . . . San Francisco . . . Irvine, California . . . San Diego . . . Salt Lake City . . . Overland Park, Kansas . . . Plano, Texas . . . Fremont, California . . . and Austin, Texas.  Vegas was 27th out of 182.

The 10 WORST cities are:  Newark, New Jersey . . . Gulfport, Mississippi . . . Shreveport, Louisiana . . . Huntington, West Virginia . . . Detroit . . . Augusta, Georgia . . . Jackson, Mississippi . . . San Bernardino, California . . . Montgomery, Alabama . . . and Fayetteville, North Carolina.
