.Indy Car Racing Legend Al Unser Jr and his wife, Norma. Al is a great friend and racing mentor to Krewe members Dr. Michael Acurio, Courtney Batts and Danny and Shonnee Aiello.  

The Unsers are the most successful family in the history of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, with a total of nine victories in the Indianapolis 500. The most recent two fell to Al Unser Jr., the son of four-time Indianapolis 500 winner Al Unser, making the Unsers the only family to have multiple generations of Indy winners.

Al Unser Jr. nicknamed “Little Al”, “Al Junior”, or “Junior” not only won the Indy 500 twice he holds Championship Titles and Awards making him one of the most winning race car drivers in history.  As a result, Al was awarded ABC Wide World Sports Athlete of the year twice, inducted Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame and the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America.  

Currently Al is Director of Competition and Driver Coach for Future Star Racing.  Future Star Racing along with The Wings and Wheels Foundation strive to develop young financially challenged, proven drivers get to the next level in racing.

Al recently released “A Checkered Past” a reflective bio on his racing career and personal life leading to his journey and faith in Christ.
