It doesn’t get much more exciting than this. The Shreveport Mudbugs are BACK.

Going into their 21st season in Shreveport-Bossier, the Mudbugs are looking to kick-off their home opening series with a bang. To say expectations are high for this team would be an understatement, considering the Mudbugs have won the NAHL Robertson Cup twice in the last four full seasons.

The season has not started ideally for the ‘Bugs, going 1-3 to after opening the season with two away series. However, no team in the NAHL plays in an arena quite like George’s Pond, and no team in the NAHL plays in front of fans like the Mudbugs fans. This team becomes nearly invincible once they step on home ice, and it’s really always been that way here in Shreveport-Bossier.

This weekend, the Mudbugs will host the Amarillo Wranglers for two home games Friday and Saturday night. Opening weekend is always special, so I highly recommend grabbing your tickets before both games sell-out.
