Shreveport Mudbugs Return Home for St. Patrick’s Weekend

With the playoffs on the horizon, the Shreveport Mudbugs look to build momentum in front of a packed pond this weekend.

George’s Pond has been rocking all season long, giving the Mudbugs the top attendance record for the 2022-2023 season. Now, the ‘Bugs sit in third place in the South division, just four points away from the second seed. Needless to say, the games this weekend are incredibly important, and the boys always thrive when it’s a packed house.

This weekend, the Mudbugs are playing host to the visiting El Paso Rhinos. The Rhinos are currently a ways away from playoff contention, so they’ll be playing with nothing to lose. This should get exciting.

To celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day, the Mudbugs will be playing in specialty jerseys, which will be auctioned off after the game Saturday night.

Get your tickets now while they’re still available, I always hate to see fans make that long walk from the parking lot to the Pond just to find out that the game had sold out. As always, both games start at 7:11 PM.
