If they haven’t been a big part of your life…do you *have* to invite both of your parents to your graduation? Blake’s struggling right now: he graduates in December and he has four tickets to his graduation, which he worked SUPER hard for.
And as he was looking at the people in his life who have been a big part of him getting to this point, it was pretty clear who he wanted at graduated…except for one person: his dad. He’s been trying to rekindle the relationship with him (it’s complicated, but it fell apart when Blake was in high school), but he doesn’t know if he’s close enough to invite him.
Should he invite his dad? Or is it a huge mistake to not invite him?
