The Bert Show: We’re TORN: Are These States In The “South” Or Not?

When Bert was in Nashville, he was talking to his hotel concierge, who was from Louisiana. And somehow, the conversation shifted to the “south” and the states that are in it, and the concierge doesn’t think that Tennessee is a Southern state, and while he’s at it, neither is North Carolina, and South Carolina only scoots by because it has the word “South” in it.

When he told everyone in studio, Cassie said the EXACT same thing about North & South Carolina without even knowing what the concierge had said. This sparked a full-on debate about what states are actually in the South…and which aren’t.

Sure, all of these are technically below the Mason-Dixon line, but are they all really Southern?
